Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA) is a national Independent Review Organization, who facilitates the review of prior authorizations for medical treatment, to determine treatment appropriateness.
IS REVIEW WORK FOR ME?
· Are you interested in staying informed of changes in your specialty field and knowing how other like specialists’ practice?
· Are you interested in learning more about how to get your own Prior Authorizations approved?
· Flexible schedule. You can easily let us know your availability for reviewing cases.
· Most MRIoA reviewers average 1-2 hours per week, however, there are no minimum expectations.
· Cases typically take 30-60 minutes to complete.
· Cases often involve a Peer-to-Peer conversation with the treating provider to obtain clarification when necessary. There is additional compensation for peer-to-peer calls.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be available during business hours to conduct peer-to-peer calls.
Must have 5 years of full-time clinical experience post residency.
· Must be Board Certified in Oncology, Hematology or Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
· Must have solid computer navigation skill
· Must have an unrestricted state license
· Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card (we are unable to sponsor a VISA)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• You will be covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (traditional Malpractice Insurance is not applicable for review work)
• Work anywhere within the USA (Per HIPAA Regulations patient records cannot leave the US).
• Non-employed Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.

Compensation Details
$126-154/hour
Paid on a PER CASE BASIS, not hourly.
