Job Summary:
The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a full-time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor on the CT (Clinician Teacher) or CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) Track.
As a public employee, the hired faculty member will participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) which includes pension benefits and malpractice coverage. This position also comes with a competitive salary and generous retirement options.
Responsibilities:
CHS Track - The duties under the CHS Track include clinical, teaching, and academic duties. Clinical duties will take place in the Abdominal Imaging section, and will include ultrasound, intra-operative-ultrasound, ultrasound guided procedures, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), computed tomography (CT) guided procedures, virtual colonoscopy (VC) and gastrointestinal/ genitourinary (GI/ GU) imaging. Teaching and clinical research are required. Departmental teaching assignments include medical students, residents, fellows, and other department trainees as appropriate. The successful candidate will participate in administrative, and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other members.
CT Track - The duties under the CT Track include complementing our Abdominal Imaging & Intervention section, but also a willingness to interact closely with our ordering providers during clinical work. Collaboration and teamwork are valued qualities in our team practice.
All faculty - the successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

MD, DO or equivalent
Qualifications:
Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging or equivalent experience - Required
License/Certification:
Required: Wisconsin medical license eligible by start date
Required: Board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
