Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon | New Jersey | AMN Healthcare

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for locum tenens coverage at a Level 2 Trauma Center in New Jersey.

📅 Schedule:

• June 15 – August 15: In-house 7AM–5PM, call 5PM–7AM (24/7 coverage)
• August 15 – September 10: Intermittent weekend/day/call coverage
• Ortho Clinic: Half-day clinic weekly, 5–10 patients (indigent population)

📍 Location: Hospital-based, Level 2 Trauma Center 👥 Call Ratio: 1:3 | Minimum 10 days/month, up to 14 🔁 EMR: Cerner 🦴 Volume:

• Hospital: 3–5 surgical cases/day
• Clinic: ~6 patients/half-day
• 700 trauma cases/year 🚑 Patient Population: Adults, Geriatric (No Peds currently)

🔧 Procedures:

• General Ortho Trauma
• Hip Joint Replacements & Revisions
• NO arthroscopy or percutaneous disc surgery

✅ REQUIREMENTS:

• Board Certified – Required
• New Jersey License – Required (no LOQs)
• BLS Certification – Required
• 60-day credentialing
