    Requirements: Proficiency with ECMO, Impella, and other forms of Mechanical Circulatory Support in addition to a medical/surgical critical care medicine.

     

    About Your Work:

     

    ·         Team of 5 physicians and 8 FT APPs, 2 PRN APPs

    ·         7 on/7 off shift

    ·         Wednesdays-Tuesdays, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

    ·         Avg. Patient Load: 8-10 patients

    ·         Service the Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center (16-bed ICU) and serve as resource for the critical care nocturnist APP at 263-bed, Lovelace Medical Center (20- bed ICU)

    ·         Closed ICU

    ·         Serve 263-bed Lovelace Medical Center

    ·         32-bed ICU (CVICU is 16-beds)

    ·         Epic EMR

     

     

    • J-1 waiver support via State Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, HHS based on location and specialty

    • H-1B support via the H-1B lottery (if completed a J1 waiver commitment)
