- Schedule: 7 shift blocks. Mon 8a-Mon8a. 1:3 weeks
- On call: Y. After rounding each day. Mostly all phone, call back is rare
- Cases: Bedside procedures- CVC placement, arterial catheterization, lumbar puncture

- Special Requirements:
- Board Status Requirement (BC/BE) Completion of fellowship training with board certification/ board eligibility in Neurocritical Care through ABPN, UCNS< and/or CAST.
- Details:
- **EXTREMELY URGENT! Provider needs an active NJ license and clean file to get credentialed quickly. ** Neurointensivist needed to cover the NeuroCC unit: Provider physician coverage of a 15 bed neurocritical care unit, supervising APPs who provide 24/7 onsite coverage. Physician is expected to round daily on all service patients, write consult notes, provide 24/7 oversight of APP coverage. Provider will only be onsite for a portion of the day, with availability by phone thereafter and call back in extreme situations.
- On call? Yes
- Patient Load 10-20 patients
- Board Status Requirement (BC/BE) Completion of fellowship training with board certification/ board eligibility in Neurocritical Care through ABPN, UCNS< and/or CAST.
- Is there additional support staff? Yes, APPs.
- Is the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? APPs.
- Are there Advanced Practice Providers? If yes, is the locums provider responsible for them? Yes and yes.
- Trauma Level of Work Location Adult Level 1, but they go to the Surgical/ Trauma ICU
- Documents req. for presentation: Active NJ license, DEA, BC in NeuroCritical Care
Compensation Details
$234-286/hour
