As a Faculty Clinician in Breast Oncology, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of breast cancer, developing innovative treatments, and providing compassionate care to patients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to patients with breast cancer, leveraging your expertise and the latest advancements in the field.
    • Clinical Research: Actively participate in and contribute to clinical trials, helping to shape the future of breast cancer treatment.
    • Scholarly Activity: Conduct research to deepen our understanding of breast cancer, its causes, and potential therapeutic targets.
    • Education: Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and fellows, shaping the next generation of breast oncology specialists.
    • Leadership: Contribute to administrative committees and councils, helping to shape the direction of OHSU and the School of Medicine.
    • Community Engagement: Engage in public service activities to raise awareness about breast cancer and its prevention.

    Required Qualifications:

    • MD or MD/PhD degree
    • Oregon medical license
    • Board certification in Internal Medicine
    • Board eligibility or certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
    • Proven track record of excellence in patient care, teaching, and research
    • Strong commitment to delivering the highest quality care to breast cancer patients

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
    • Successful track record of obtaining extramural funding for clinical trials or basic science research

    Compensation Details

    $267-360k
