Position Overview: As an Academic Adult Psychiatrist, you will be crucial in delivering comprehensive psychiatric services, engaging in groundbreaking research, and contributing to the education of residents and medical students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of innovative treatment programs.
  • Engage in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of psychiatric knowledge.
  • Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other academic activities.

Qualifications:

  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring.
  • Experience in clinical research is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
