The Department of Radiology at Children’s Mercy Kansas City and the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC-SOM) seek a clinical / academic Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to join a highly specialized academic Pediatric Radiology group.  This position includes a collegial, private practice style work environment with autonomous management of pediatric imaging and procedures. The candidate should be CAQ-certified or CAQ-eligible in Pediatric Radiology as well as Interventional Radiology or have extensive experience with image guided procedures in pediatrics.

Details:

• The position is approximately 70% interventional radiology and 30% diagnostic radiology which entails practice within all aspects of pediatric imaging. 
• Teaching duties include radiology residents from multiple residency programs. 
• Research opportunities also are available and encouraged but not required. 
• Academic appointments will be through the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine. 
• Our program has a CAQ accredited pediatric radiology fellowship program and interventional radiology fellows from the University of Kansas rotate through our department.
