Part-Time or Full-Time Child/General Psychiatrist (MD) Reports To: Chief of Mental Health
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric and psychopharmacological care to patients
- Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure that the patient is receiving quality comprehensive medical care
- Provide consultations as requested by the medical providers
- Establish reviews and evaluate treatment plans and goals with patients
- Manage caseloads and documentation through electronic medical records system
- Participate in on-call rotation after business hours
- Participate in qualify assurance activities
- Some weekend hours required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited medical school (as Psychiatrist)
- Licensed to practice in New York State
- Basic CPR (BCLS) certification required
- Experience preferred
- Specialty Certification preferred
- Bilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) or English/Bengali required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Full-Time Salary: $200,000 - $240,000 per year
