FACULTY AND HOSPITALIST POSITION FOR INTERNAL MEDICINE RESIDENCY PROGRAM AT MCLEOD HEALTH

McLeod Health is actively seeking a dynamic and innovative leader for a Hospitalist and faculty position in our new Internal Medicine Residency Program. We are looking for a board-certified physician recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association.

This is an employed position by a large non-profit tertiary and teaching facility in South Carolina for a split between a Hospitalist and a Faculty Position for our Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Position Requirements

· Must hold current Internal Medicine Board Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.

· Must have ongoing clinical activity.

· Eligible for full licensure to practice medicine in the state of South Carolina.

· Eligible for unrestricted Active Medical Staff privileges.

· Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

. Experience as a hospitalist

· Demonstrate values and behaviors consistent with McLeod Health’s values and behavior standards.

The Internal Medicine Residency Program will be based at McLeod Regional Medical Center (MRMC) in Florence, South Carolina. MRMC is proud to sponsor two ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Programs, established in 1981 and 2020. Our Department of Graduate Medical Education (GME) is well-established and equipped to offer robust institutional and program-level support to our resident physicians.
