Staffing Model:

  • 28 Providers
  • 9 MD/DOs + 2 NP/PAs (7am-7pm)
  • 1 NP/PA (3pm-3am)
  • 1 MD/DO + 1 NP/PA (7pm-7am)

Facility Information
Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center is a 334-bed hospital, non-profit, community owned and managed hospital. In an effort to meet the needs of the community, the hospital boasts a Center of Excellence in Breast Imaging, has an Accredited Cancer Center, an accredited Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery program and is an Advanced Certified Primary Stroke Center.

Community Description
Lafayette is at the heart of Louisiana's Cajun & Creole Country. This quaint town is located along the Vermilion River in southwestern Louisiana.
