Psychiatry Nocturnalist option in NYC

We currently have an open Nocturnalist Psychiatrist position in New York City.

​

This position provides coverage of Emergency and Medical/Surgical consultations and a highly regarded inpatient psychiatric unit. There is a 3rd-year Resident assigned to assist this Attending Psychiatrist on rounds.

​

The Emergency Department has a state-of-the-art, safe Emergency Psychiatry Holding Area staffed with RNs, PCTs and a Security Officer.

​

Shifts would be from 9pm until 9am, and the expectation would be for the candidate to work primarily weeknights. This institution is one of the few health care systems that allows physicians to have schedule flexibility and affords lucrative part-time private practice opportunities.

The pay scale is commensurate with similar options, along with excellent benefits and a prestigious faculty appointment.
