Practice Setting:

• 24-bed Cardiac ICU Department
• Highly collaborative and experienced team

** Schedule:**

• 14 shifts per month
• No on-call duties!

Procedures and Cases:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of practice
• Order, interpret diagnostic tests, and ensure comprehensive patient care planning
• Provide patient education and follow-up care

• Perform standard ICU procedures, including:

  • Arterial lines
  • Central venous lines
  • Intubation and ventilator management

** Requirements:**

• Active North Carolina License (required)
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications
• Certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Practitioner
• Minimum 24 months of Cardiac Intensive Care experience
