Job Title: Critical Care Nocturnist Location: Samaritan Hospital, Troy, NY or St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany, NY Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem Shift Type: Night Shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

St. Peter’s Health Partners is seeking experienced Critical Care Nocturnist physicians to join a highly skilled team of providers at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY, and St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY. This is an inpatient-only coverage role with work hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. We are open to full-time, part-time, and per diem availability.

• Provide critical care services in a closed ICU setting at Samaritan Hospital (Troy, NY) or St. Peter’s Hospital (Albany, NY).
• Work night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) to manage ICU patients.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Ensure the highest standards of care and collaboration with other medical staff.
• No on-call responsibilities outside of scheduled shifts.
• Work with a team to provide comprehensive critical care services during the night shift.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care (must become Board Certified within a specified timeframe if not already).
• Must be willing to obtain a DEA registration (if not already held).
• Active New York State medical license, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to provide critical care services in an inpatient setting.
• Previous experience as a nocturnist or in a critical care setting is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or hold an appropriate visa (Note: We cannot accept J-1 or H-1B visa candidates).
