Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, located in Mooresville, NC (Lake Norman), is recruiting an Interventional Vascular Surgeon to join its hospital based heart and vascular clinic.

  • Seeking an experienced, Interventional Vascular Surgeon to spearhead the development of a new service line.
  • The ideal physician will provide comprehensive vascular services in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, including peripheral stenting and endovascular procedures in the lab and surgery as appropriate including but not limited too; Carotid Artery Stenting, EVAR / TEVAR, CLI / Limb Salvage, HD Access, Vein Ablation / Intervention, Minimally Invasive Peripheral Intervention, VNUS Closure of Varicose Veins
  • Extensive internal referral base

Qualifications

  • As a vital member of our department, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in vascular and interventional radiology to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients
  • In order to be considered for this role, applicants must possess a medical degree, be licensed in the state of North Carolina, and be board certified in radiology and interventional radiology

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures ensuring accuracy and precision in results
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and technicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Stay up-to-date on current research and advancements in vascular and interventional radiology, and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice
