St. John’s Community Health is dedicated to providing medical, dental, and mental health services to underserved and uninsured individuals in South and East Los Angeles. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to join our team and help us fulfill our mission.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for patients 18 and older, including physical exams, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments and medications, and provide health education to patients.
• Collaborate with specialists for referrals when necessary and ensure accurate documentation of patient records.
• Support community health initiatives and contribute to disaster response services as needed.
• Participate in a flexible schedule with opportunities for growth, including one late shift weekly and 26 Saturdays per year.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO with Internal Medicine Residency completion
• CA Medical License, DEA Certificate, BLS
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Board Certified or Eligible
