Indian Health Service is seeking a BC General Radiology Supervisor/Department Chief in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Join our team of 4 radiologists providing general radiology services in a low volume, low stress environment, to an underserved Native American patient population. Practice Details: The hospital provides Radiography, Fluoroscopy, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, DEXA, and MRI imaging services. Expertise in Mammography and MRI is not required, but is welcomed. No nuclear medicine or interventional radiology. For those interested in Breast Imaging, that is one of our specialties, and you can perform (or even learn) breast procedures.
The workload is primarily from a busy ED and outpatient clinics, with lower volume and less stress than usually experienced in a hospital-based imaging department. Enjoy a collegial work environment with technologists and referring staff, with primary care providers and ordering physicians on site and easily accessible. Have time to perform quality services and focus on patient care, rather than RVUs. Work weekdays only, with a nighthawk service covering the rest of the time. No call, weekends or holidays!
Position Benefits:

Compensation Details
$350-400k
Compensation Details: Generous federal benefits, adding 30% over salary to the compensation package. Competitive salary based on experience; regular salary increases and yearly cost of living adjustments. Public Service Loan Forgiveness - all remaining Direct Loans forgiven after 10yrs/120 payments. Excellent health benefits, with choice among multiple national plans.
