Physician - Hospitalist (Multiple MaineHealth facilities along coast)

Waldo County General Hospital (WCGH) and Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) are seeking fill a full-time Hospitalist position. The hospitals are closely integrated within the Coastal Healthcare Alliance (CHA) and the MaineHealth system. New hires will receive inpatient privileges at both PBMC and WCGH but may designate either facility as their “home” institution for the majority of their shifts. PBMC is a 99-bed facility with broad array of consult availability both locally and via the MaineHealth OneCall system. WCGH is a critical access hospital with fewer local consultants but the same level of support via the MaineHealth system. The hospitals utilize the Epic EMR, which is fully integrated with all hospital departments, physician practices, and other hospitals within the MaineHealth family.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

1. MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
2. Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certified/Board Eligible.
3. Active and unrestricted State of Maine medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
4. Current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
