    Maine Eye Center is seeking an exceptional cornea specialist to join our physician owned practice in Portland, Maine. Maine Eye is northern New England's most comprehensive, independent, eye specialty practice, with an on-site multi room ASC, refractive surgery suite, and optical shop.

    We will favor applicants whom we anticipate will work well in an established tradition of ethical and compassionate care, hard work, and a collaborative approach among physicians and staff to best serve our patients. Maine Eye has an outstanding reputation for high standards and excellence in patient care, while also providing a collegial work environment.

    • Our 16 providers, consisting of 11 Ophthalmologists and 5 Optometrists, have academic appointments at Tufts University Medical School and we collaborate with Maine Medical Center.
    • Our practice includes 2 locations in Portland connected by electronic health records, with an outstanding administrative and support staff.
    • For those interested, a partnership track is available, providing an outstanding opportunity to be part of an independent practice with ownership in an ASC and excellent earning potential.
