The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) Division of Interventional Radiology is recruiting two fellowship trained pediatric interventional radiologists in St. Petersburg, Florida. We seek highly qualified, team-oriented candidates, committed to contributing to the continued evolution of our exceptional pediatric radiology team. A candidate with significant leadership experience at a children’s teaching hospital may be considered for a position as Chief of Pediatric Interventional Radiology. Highlights include:

· JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital in 7 pediatric specialties (2023-2024) We are also ranked as the #1 Children’s Hospital in Florida.

· Qualified candidates are eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. (Academic appointments are optional. Rank is commensurate with experience).

· JHACH provides the full spectrum of radiology services on children up to age 21. We are a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center servicing the surrounding area with expert pediatric care in nearly all subspecialties. More than half of the 259 beds are devoted to intensive care level services.

· Approximately 80,000 diagnostic radiologic studies annually on children of all ages, including 2,100 interventional radiology-specific procedures.

· These include a broad range of pediatric interventional procedures daily including, but not limited to, soft tissue biopsies, lumbar punctures, drainage procedures, ablations, establishment of central venous access, joint injections, GU interventions, pain management interventions, angiograms, thrombectomies, trauma-related interventions, and sclerotherapy.

· IR procedures are currently performed in a dedicated suite with full procedural capabilities and the support of an experienced IR team.

· JHACH is building a state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology suite that will feature upgraded, leading edge technology. The new suite will significantly expand the IR team’s diagnosis and therapy capabilities for children with a myriad of conditions.

· Excellent compensation package, including a $75,000 signing bonus.

· We also offer 10 weeks of PTO and 2 weeks CME.

· Desirable candidates will have formal training and/or experience with pediatric and/or interventional radiology. The ideal candidate will have completed (or be in the process of completing) a fellowship in pediatric interventional radiology.

· The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Vascular Anomalies and Birthmarks Program offers state-of-the-art, individualized care to patients. We are the only health system on Florida’s west coast with a multidisciplinary team. A candidate with experience in vascular anomalies would be a valuable addition. The ideal candidate will have, or acquire, the requisite skills to support and assist the continual development of this program.

Compensation Details

$475-650k

$75,000 Signing Bonus. Salary is commensurate with experience. Compensation package may have some flexibility.
