Pediatric Anesthesiologist - Riverside University Health System

The Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group seeks a fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist to serve at Riverside University Health System Medical Center (RUHS), a 439-bed acute tertiary-care facility and Level II pediatric trauma center featuring the only PICU in Riverside County.

 

Position Duties & Highlights

• Clinical duties include both pediatric and adult anesthesia
  • Pediatric case mix includes orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, urology, plastics, trauma, and non-operating room procedures and imaging studies
  • Comprehensive adult surgical case mix excluding cardiac and transplant
• Call schedule: 3 in-house nights and one 24-hour weekend/holiday per month
• Lead development of expanding pediatric anesthesia services
  • Protected time for directorship responsibilities and academic pursuits
  • Interact with RUHS administration, surgical leadership, and medical staff leadership
  • Develop and oversee creation of departmental guidelines and protocols applicable to pediatric anesthesia

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary starting at $418,000 to $438,000 with adjustment for academic rank and directorship roles

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO or Foreign Equivalent
• Board certification/eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship or Equivalent
• California medical license
• Valid DEA registration number
