Core Job Responsibilities
- Must be BC/BE with NYS License
- EPIC EMR
- Endoscopic Vein and Artery Harvesting
- OR first and second assisting
- Some outpatient clinic responsibility
- History and physical exams
- Rounding on floor and ICU patients
- census management
- Weeknight/weekend call coverage (floor calls and emergency surgical procedures)
- Inpatient consults
- Bedside procedures (thoracentesis, central/arterial line placement, chest tube insertion/removal, etc.)
- Supportive and congenial working environment
- Newest Hospital in NY State
Education/Experience Requirements
- Licensed or eligible to practice in the state of New York
- 3-5+ years of Cardiac experience.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience required in Endoscopic Vein and Artery Harvesting for the full scope opportunity.
- Be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA certification
Licensure/Certification Requirements
REQUIRED:
- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
- Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.
PREFERRED:
- Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty

Compensation Details
$150-230k
During the term of employment, Provider will be entitled to receive such benefits and participate in such benefit plans as are generally provided by Hospital to its providers through its Benefits program for management level employees.
