At SSM Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services, and our Centralia, IL, SSM Health Weight Management Services department is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team of 1 Bariatric surgeon, 1 Medically Managed Physician and 2 . Previous experience in obesity medicine preferred.

SSM Health Weight Management Services comprehensive weight-loss program has the ultimate goal of helping people live better quality, healthier and longer lives. The program addresses all of a patient's healthy weight management needs encompassing surgical and non-surgical options, diet and nutritional education, exercise training referrals, and support groups. Job Highlights:

  • Outpatient clinic setting
    • New and follow-up patients
    • 30-minute new patient visits and 15-30-minute follow-up visits
    • Anticipated volume of up to 13 patients per day
    • Experienced support staff in place (nursing, dietician, referral coordinator, receptionist)
  • Schedule:
    • Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm
    • Some potential for cross-campus days in nearby Mt. Vernon
    • No Call and No Weekends

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) Program
  • Ability to obtain PA licensure in Illinois
