Portneuf Surgical Specialists in Pocatello, ID- 52 mi from Idaho Falls, is searching for a BE/BC Surgical Critical Care Traumatologist to join an established surgical group comprised of 10 surgeons (multi-specialty) and 6 Advanced Practice Practitioners at 205-bed Portneuf Medical Center.

About Your Work:

  • Ten 24 hr. Shifts/Mo
  • Medical Directorship Opportunity
  • 10-15 patient encounters while on call
  • Da Vinci Surgical System
  • Inpatient Only
  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Dedicated Trauma Service for patient admits
  • Call is not in-house (15 min response time)
  • Hospital offers specialty support including Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, and fully staffed ICU/Hospitalist Services
  • Epic EMR
  • Teaching opportunity (Medical Students & FM Residents)

Requirements: Must be BE/BC in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
