Family Medicine Physician (Massachusetts Licensed)

This is a Hospitalist position (family medicine)

• Flexible Work Hours (8-hour Shifts at any given time of the day)

• Provider must be licensed in Massachusetts.

• Must be comfortable with Pediatrics (Child and Adolescent)
• Patients will be at a Psychiatric Facility in Massachusetts.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Every patient admitted into the facility we provide services for requires a Medical H&P to be completed within 24 hours of the admission.
• Our virtual clinicians log into the “Andor Health” dashboard using their Virtual On-Demand Consults product.
• Once logged in, the provider can see a complete list of patients and join the room the facility has prepped for the visit.
• Once in the visit the provider must document the H&P in CareVue, which is the end of their work for that patient.
• Furthermore, when not completing H&P, there is also a need for quick general medicine cross-coverage calls.
• These patients are not sick, and it is mainly managing diabetes, blood pressure, minor physical wounds, and other similar issues.
• Once the patient is deemed a “High Medical Risk,” that patient is transferred back to the ER, as this is only a Psychiatric Hospital.

Qualifications

Clinical Requirements:

• Massachusetts License
• Massachusetts DEA
• Comfortability with Peds
• Comfortable doing Virtual/Remote Clinical Work
