Gastroenterology Assignment with a Leading Health System in North Carolina

Certifications & Requirements:

• Board-certified or board-eligible within 5 years
• BLS and DEA certification required
• Licensed in North Carolina

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
• Start in April with ongoing coverage required
• Night call is mandatory, with optional weekend call – flexibility tailored to your preferences

Practice Setting:

• Catering exclusively to adults, you'll work in a mix of inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with a team comprising one other physician and a physician assistant
• Practice at a 300-bed hospital with a state-of-the-art GI clinic on-site

Cases and Procedures:

• Perform upper and lower scopes, colonoscopies, and more
• Experience with ERCP & EUS is advantageous, though not mandatory
