The CMO will lead Memorial’s clinical strategy, enhance quality and safety initiatives, and foster a culture of provider alignment and innovation. This role oversees hospital-based CMOs and chiefs of staff, driving clinical engagement and excellence across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Lead and align physicians across the system to elevate standards of care and professionalism.
• Provide strategic clinical guidance for new and existing programs and services.
• Represent Memorial regionally and nationally as a clinical thought leader.
• Advance academic missions in partnership with the Chief Academic Officer and program directors.
• Collaborate on research initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance in clinical trials.
• Innovate new care delivery models including managed populations, telehealth, and ambulatory growth.
• Integrate emerging technologies (AI, robotics, genomics) into clinical strategy.
• Guide workforce development efforts to strengthen provider pipelines.
• Oversee quality and patient safety programs system-wide.
• Use data and clinical analytics to measure and improve outcomes.
• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and represent the system’s clinical voice to the community.
• MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine; board certification required.
• Strong preference for OB/GYN or Surgery specialties.
• Current Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Advanced degree in healthcare or business (MBA, MHA, MPH) highly desirable.
• At least 3 years of executive-level clinical leadership in a complex, multi-hospital system.
• Proven track record supporting GME, clinical research, and provider engagement initiatives.
