The 11,000 square-foot facility houses advanced technology, including a CT scanner. The 24/7 emergency department is an extension of services for Northwest Health, operating as a department of Northwest Medical Center – Bentonville.
The facility also has two negative pressure rooms, designed to isolate a patient who is suspected of having – or has been diagnosed with – an airborne infectious disease. The design is intended to prevent the spread of a disease from an infected patient to others. Additionally, decontamination equipment is available for patients who have been injured by or exposed to chemicals. This assists our team in providing safe and appropriate care while protecting staff, patients or guests.
