Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a new graduate or experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida.

  • State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
  • The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year
  • Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service
  • Primary responsibilities include providing attending coverage at our Level-III NICU
  • All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
  • In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage
  • Level-I coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage from home
  • Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs
  • We value a team-approach toward care, in a developmentally sensitive and family-centered unit

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
