Healthcare facility in Alabama looking for an Emergency Medicine physician to provide ER coverage
Schedule:
- 12hr hour shifts, mostly nights.
- Around 3-6 shifts per month available, sporadic shifts
- Start this October (estimated 60-90 day credentialing, faster for clean background)
Assignment:
- Volume: 35.5k annual ER visits, estimated 105 patients per day. Volume split with APC's.
- Support staff: Mid-levels, OB, Peds, Surgery, Ortho, APC's, GI, etc
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
- Cases/Procedures: Will need to be comfortable with all general ER cases + moderate sedation
- No trauma designation, 18 beds total
Requirements :
- Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active AL license + state ACLS, BLS, DEA, PALS, CSC
