  • We are currently hiring a full-time Medical Oncologist to join our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Oncology team located in Renton, WA. Our approach is team-based and we provide patient-centered care.

    About the position:

    · Call is 1:5

    · Designated MA

    · Palliative care is embedded in the Oncology Clinic

    · We have triage nursing, financial coordinators, and treatment authorizers

    · PharmD embedded -infusion center and Clinic

    · Support subspecialties with IR, GI, therapeutic and diagnostic interventionist, colorectal and breast surgeons

    · Busy practice with growth opportunities

    · Team: 4 Medical Oncologists, 1 medical oncology APP, 2 Radiation Oncologists, 1.5 Gyn-Oncologists, and 1 Gyn-Oncology APP

    · BE/BC in Medical Oncology - New graduates are encouraged to apply

    · Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority

    The Valley Medical Center Clinic Network includes primary care clinics in Covington, Kent, Maple Valley, Newcastle and Renton serve as a medical home for care management. Our urgent care clinics provide a safety net of after-hours care, including telehealth and walk-in consults. Coordinating care and resources is streamlined as we also have 50+ specialty clinics that provide access throughout our district.

    Compensation Details

    $450-550k

    Compensation amounts listed may include productivity, quality/service incentives, call pay or extra shift incentives as applicable to the position. Valley Medical Center offers valuable healthy living benefits: -Medical, vision (group medical), and Rx’s -Dental/orthodontia -Group life/AD&D -Long-term disability -Flexible spending accounts for medical and dependent care -Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program participant As a FULL-TIME physician, you may also be eligible to receive: 20 to 25 days of vacation leave per calendar year based on position and years of service. 76 hours of sick leave, 7 days of holiday leave, and 2 floating holidays throughout the calendar year.
