The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children's seeks a general pediatric gastroenterologist for full time faculty appointment at Arkansas Children's Northwest (ACNW) campus in Springdale, AR.
This new group of 2 experienced gastroenterologists and 1 nurse practitioner is looking to add a 3rd physician to help create and grow our program. Autonomy, innovation and teamwork are valued. While this is primarily a clinical position, medical student teaching and research are encouraged and supported.
24 beds, 24/7 ER, 5 ORs, and therapy gym stay busy, so new construction is underway. Hospitalists provide inpatient care so you can stay focused on your specialty. Liver and IBD clinics from Little Rock visit monthly. ACH in Little Rock provides PICU, interventional and call support.
There is more to NW Arkansas than you know. It is one of the fastest growing areas of the county with the University of Arkansas and several fortune 500 companies. This area is safe with great schools and tons of outdoor activities.
Faculty rank is commensurate with experience. Competitive salary, sign-on bonus, moving allowance and benefits are standard. ACNW is eligible for H1B visa waiver.
