Per Diem or Full Time Psychiatrist - North Providence, RI

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide inpatient coverage in North Providence, RI. This is a flexible opportunity for psychiatrists interested in full-time 12-hour shifts or per diem availability with travel covered.

🔹 Requirements: • Board Certified in Psychiatry • Federal DEA, Controlled Substance Registration • Willing to license – RI is part of IMLC • Candidates from the East Coast/Midwest strongly preferred

🔹 Position Overview: • Start Date: June 16th or ASAP upon credentialing • Contract Length: 3 months with potential to extend • Shift Options: 12-hour shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) • Schedule Type: Full-Time preferred, but per diem shifts available • Setting: Inpatient – no telemedicine at this time • Population: Adult & Geriatric • EMR: EPIC

🔹 Key Responsibilities: • Psychiatric evaluations & medication management • Treatment planning and interdisciplinary collaboration • Direct inpatient psychiatric care for adults and geriatric patients
