Academic Interventional Radiologist needed at St. Louis University

SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health Department of Radiology, is seeking a dynamic Interventional Radiologist to join our collegial team of 10 IR faculty and 6 Advanced Physicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive IR services across 4 hospitals and 2 clinics, including:
    • St. Louis University Hospital (Level 1 trauma center and transplant center)
    • Community Hospital (PAD, UFE, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty)
    • Children's Hospital (400+ cases including VM clinic)
    • VA Hospital
  • Cover one or two hospitals as assigned.
  • Participate in a robust IR clinic operating 4 days a week.
  • Engage in clinical trials with the support of 4 Research Nurses.
  • Perform a wide range of IR procedures, including but not limited to:
    • TIPS
    • Y90
    • Ablations
    • PE thrombectomy/thrombolysis
    • PAE
    • UFE

Qualifications:

  • Experience in PAD, pediatric IR, Neuro, and/or clinical trials is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to teaching residents and medical students within our Interventional Radiology Residency Program.
  • Board certification in Interventional Radiology.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Missouri.
