Practice Setting

• Collaborative Level I and Level II trauma care teams

** Schedule**

• 7 on/7 off rotation

  • Night shifts are 6 p.m. – 6 a.m.
  • Holiday coverage requiredonly if it falls on your rotation

** Procedures and Cases**

• Manage inpatient admissions and consults for trauma, general surgery, urology, and orthopedic cases
• Respond to Level I and Level II traumas
• Perform suturing, central lines, arterial lines, and tube placement
• Manage urology-related issues, including foley catheters and continuous bladder irrigation

** Requirements**

• Active Michigan license (required)
• ACLS and ATLS certifications

** Credentialing Requirements**

• Typically completed in 30 days
• Travel and lodging accommodations can be arranged for this ongoing opportunity
