Job Summary:

Incumbent will join the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and will provide clinical services in pulmonary medicine at UW Health approved locations, to include University Hospital and EastPark Medical Center. Opportunities may be available for critical care and/or sleep medicine based on candidate interest and the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Clinical expectations include providing pulmonary services in the inpatient and ambulatory settings of UW Health. Based on the interest of the candidate additional service in procedures, sleep medicine, and critical care may be available. Our providers participate in clinical teaching of fellows, residents and medical students, and support the teaching and clinical research missions of the division and department.

Physicians hired on the CHS track will have additional responsibilities in education or research to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

MD, DO, or Equivalent

Qualifications:

For an appointment at Associate Professor on CHS Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate on the CHS Track.

For an appointment at Clinical Associate Professor rank on CT Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate on the CT Track.

License/Certification:

Required
Must be eligible for a WI Medical License

Required
Board certified or eligible in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine by start date.
