Cardiothoracic Surgeon - Camden, NJ

We are currently seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon with experience in Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs) to join our esteemed surgical team. If you have a passion for saving lives, pioneering new techniques, and delivering top-tier care to patients with advanced heart failure, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries, including but not limited to heart transplants, coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), and valve repairs/replacements.
• Manage LVAD implantation and post-operative care for patients with severe heart failure.
• Work closely with our heart failure and transplant teams to provide comprehensive care for patients in need of mechanical circulatory support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans, providing optimal patient care.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in cardiothoracic surgery, especially in mechanical circulatory support and LVAD technology.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree; Board-certified or Board-eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Strong experience with LVAD implantation, management, and post-operative care.
• Expertise in performing a wide range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
