  • We are currently hiring a full-time Nephrologist who wants to build a practice working in a collaborative, collegial work environment. This is a highly cohesive and engaged team.

    About the position:

    • Manages clinic, hospital, and area dialysis center patients
    • Flexible schedule
    • Work weeks vary: 5 day/week when on hospital long or short call 4 day/week – Clinic and dialysis rounding; 1day/week admin
    • Call: 1:7 (includes nights and weekends)
    • Nurse Practitioner helps with dialysis rounding
    • Average # of patients seen per day in Clinic: 15-18
    • Average Hospital census: 25-27 split amongst 2 providers
    • Practitioners- 6 physicians, 1 ARNP helping with dialysis rounds.
    • BE/BC in Nephrology; New graduates are encouraged to apply
    • Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority

    The Valley Medical Center Clinic Network includes primary care clinics in Covington, Kent, Maple Valley, Newcastle and Renton serve as a medical home for care management. Our urgent care clinics provide a safety net of after-hours care, including telehealth and walk-in consults. Coordinating care and resources is streamlined as we also have 50+ specialty clinics that provide access throughout our district.

    Compensation Details

    $300-350k
