Job Highlights
The Stein Eye Institute, Stein Eye Centers-UCLA, Doheny Eye Institute, and Doheny Eye Centers-UCLA and the UCLA Department of Ophthalmology invite applications for comprehensive ophthalmologists with or without subspecialty training to serve as faculty in the David Geffen School of Medicine, with primary clinical activities to take place at the eye centers that are serviced by the Department of Ophthalmology.
Applicants should be dedicated to:
- teaching of medical students and resident physicians,
- exemplary patient care,
- professional activities,
- creative contributions to administrative, academic or research activities, and
- service to the University and to the public.
Candidates must be eligible for board certification and immediately eligible for an unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of California.

Compensation Details
$220-429k
-- The posted UC salary scales (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html) set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. -- You may qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance due on your eligible federal student loans based on your employment in a public service job like UCLA. -- Household and lab relocation assistance may be available.
