    About the Position:

    As the highest ranking physician leader within this correctional institution, you will:

    • Provide comprehensive oversight and accountability for the operations and delivery of all patient care
    • Work collaboratively with other health care discipline managers and in coordination with custody
    • Assign work/specific cases and consult on critical cases
    • Monitor admissions and discharges
    • Perform medical care of patients, as necessary

    Requirements:

    • California Medical License
    • Min. 5 yrs. clinical experience
    • Experience in: medical practice compliance; conducting quality reviews; and practical practice development
    • Min. 2 yrs. experience supervising physicians
