What is Doximity’s Medical AI Summit?

An invite-only gathering of 150 physician tech leaders hosted annually by Doximity (NYSE: DOCS).

When and where is it?

It’s 22 fun-packed hours! Starting 5pm Friday March 6, 2025 through Saturday lunch in San Francisco. All parts of the summit will take place at The Palace Hotel (2 New Montgomery Street)

Is there an option to attend the summit virtually?

No, our summit is 100% in-person. There is no option to attend virtually.

When should I arrive and depart?

To ensure you can attend all programming, please arrive in San Francisco by 3:00pm PST on March 6, and depart no sooner than 3:00pm PST on March 7.

What costs will Doximity cover?

Doximity will cover your Friday night hotel stay, programming, and meals. Additional nights at The Palace Hotel may be available for you to purchase at our group rate, subject to availability.

We will provide you a travel reimbursement up to $1,000 for getting to and from San Francisco. Additional details will be shared with attendees over email.

Why are you offering me $DOCS stock?

Couple reasons:

  1. We want you to attend and bring your ideas! This honoraria is a small token of our thanks.
  2. We want you to have a stake in our success and growth.

Why $1,999 worth of stock?

At $2,000 or more, we’d have to file an IRS Form 1099.

Is receiving or selling the stock difficult?

There’s a bit of setup, similar to a wire transfer. First, stop by our stock signup table at the Summit. There, we’ll sign you up for an E*TRADE account (or link to yours, if you already have one); this process is free and only takes a few minutes. Second, per insider trading rules, you can’t sell your shares until May 19 (10 weeks after the Summit) as you’ll be privy to confidential information at the Summit. On or after May 19, you can sell them for cash, move them to another brokerage, or hold them – whatever you like.

The number of shares you receive will be $1,999 divided by the closing DOCS:NYSE market price on May 18 (the day before the shares become available). For example, if the price is $60/share, you’ll be granted 33 shares ($1,999/$60).

Stock is only available to those that attend in-person. For more info on DOCS stock, please see our Investor site here. Additionally, we will follow up with more details as we get closer to the summit.

Is this honoraria posted to the Open Payments (or Sunshine) Act?

No. We’re not a medical manufacturer and don’t bill insurers, so we’re not part of Open Payments.

Can I see who else is attending?

Yes! In the weeks leading up to the summit, we will send over a page that includes all attendees, in case you’d like to connect with anyone on Doximity before coming to San Francisco!

  1. You are welcome to bring a +1, but please note that all programming events in the agenda are only open to our attending physicians.
  2. This is an invitation-only event - we ask that you please keep this confidential. If you know someone that you believe would be a great fit, you can email summit@doximity.com and we will review!
