What is Doximity’s Medical Advisory Summit?
An invite-only gathering of 150 physician tech leaders hosted annually by Doximity (NYSE: DOCS).
Two goals:
- Direct Doximity’s product roadmap, and
- Meet other physician tech leaders.
When and where is it?
It’s 22 fun-packed hours! Starting 5pm Friday March 7, 2025 through Saturday lunch in San Francisco.
Is there an option to attend the summit virtually?
No, our summit is 100% in-person. There is no option to attend virtually.
When should I arrive and depart?
To ensure you can attend all programming, we recommend arriving in San Francisco by 3:00pm PST on March 7, and departing after 3:00pm PST on March 8.
What costs will Doximity cover?
Doximity will cover your Friday night hotel stay, programming, and meals. Additional nights at The Palace Hotel may be available for you to purchase at our group rate, subject to availability. We will provide you a travel reimbursement up to $500 for getting to San Francisco.
How does the travel reimbursement work?
Save your travel receipts! This can be for flights, gas money, ride-share or however you might get to San Francisco. Following the summit, we will reimburse you for the cost of your travel, up to $500. Additional details to be shared with attendees leading up to the summit.
What should I expect at the Medical Advisory Summit?
Half the agenda is informal – time to meet physician leaders from across specialties and the country over dinner, drinks, and self-organized ‘hot topics’. The other half of the agenda will be weighing in on Doximity’s product roadmap in roundtable discussions with our engineers & leadership.
Why are you offering me $DOCS stock?
Couple reasons:
- We want you to attend and bring your ideas! This honoraria is a small token of our thanks.
- We want you to have a stake in our success and growth.
Why $599 worth of stock?
At $600 or more, we’d have to file an IRS Form 1099-NEC.
Is receiving or selling the stock difficult?
There’s a bit of setup, similar to a wire transfer. First, stop by our stock signup table at the Summit. There, we’ll sign you up for an E*TRADE account (or link to yours, if you already have one); this process is free and only takes a few minutes. Second, per insider trading rules, you can’t sell your shares until May 20 (10 weeks after the Summit) as you’ll be privy to confidential information at the Summit. On or after May 20, you can sell them for cash, move them to another brokerage, or hold them – whatever you like.
The number of shares you receive will be $599 divided by the closing DOCS:NYSE market price on May 19 (the day before the shares become available). For example, if the price is $30/share, you’ll be granted 19 shares ($599/$30).

Is this honoraria posted to the Open Payments (or Sunshine) Act?
No. We’re not a medical manufacturer and don’t bill insurers, so we’re not part of Open Payments.
Can I see who else is attending?
Yes! In the weeks leading up to the summit, we will send over a page that includes all attendees, in case you’d like to connect with anyone on Doximity before coming to San Francisco!
