  • Zuyue Wang, MD, has joined Baylor Scott & White, The Heart Hospitals beginning September 2, 2019. As Regional Medical Director of Non-Invasive Cardiology she works with hospital medical staff to develop and implement programs, policies, and procedures in non-invasive cardiology. She also serves as the Medical Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiology services at THHBP. Dr. Wang is the Associate Program Director – Cardiology Residency/Fellowship Program. She provides educational services and develops Cardiology education services to the Fellowship program. Dr. Wang is also cardiologist at Legacy Heart Center.

    Dr. Wang’s areas of interest are echocardiography, especially valvular heart disease, disease of aorta, endocarditis, and role of 2D/3D TEE for guiding surgical and transcatheter procedures.

    She was a twice recipient of the Joseph Lindsay Teaching Award in Cardiology.

    Dr. Wang serves an echocardiography co-investigator in multiple clinical trials. Her research has been published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Journal of Cardiology to name a few. She is a frequent invited speaker at regional, nation and international meetings.

    Dr. Wang received her medical degree from Shanghai Medical University/Fudan University and completed her fellowship at the Shanghai Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, World health Organization Collaborating Center for Research and training in Cardiovascular Diseases at Zhongshan Hospital, Shanghai Medical University. She completed her residency and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Georgetown University/MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

    Dr. Wang is a fellow of the ASE and ACC and she serves as a council member on Industry Relationship in ASE and ACC Innovation section.
