  Dr. Zhu completed Internal Medicine residency training at the New York Medical College/Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center and has been practicing since then.

He completed postdoctoral training at University of Louisville in Kentucky and later at National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Maryland.
