Dr. Zakaria Hamdan is a nephrologist based in An Najah National University Hospital . He earned his MD from Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine in 2002 and completed his residency and nephrology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He also holds a Master's in Science from the American University of the Caribbean. Dr. Hamdan is an associate professor of medicine at An Najah National University, Nablus, Palestine. He has contributed to several publications in the field of nephrology, including research on diabetes control, kidney function, lower urinary tract symptoms in hemodialysis patients, and bone health in peritoneal dialysis patients. He has served as a principal investigator in clinical trials focused on peritoneal dialysis, and he is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology.
