Summary

  • I am an Assistant Professor in Dermatology at the University of Utah. My clinical interests include autoimmune dermatology, especially autoimmune bullous disease, lichen planus (including oral and scalp disease), dermatomyositis, vasculitis, ulcers, and neutrophilic disease. I am also a clinical researcher focused on dermatoepidemiology. My research interests are focused on improving the care of patients with autoimmune dermatology and better incorporating the patient experience into clinical decision-making via patient-reported outcomes. I believe patient-reported outcomes can provide critical information that we as clinicians may either not elicit or not be able to collect in a traditional visit which can be critical to providing patient-centered care and decision making.
