  Medina is certified in Florida by the ANCC board as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and also holds a certification by the ANNP board as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with honors as a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Leadership and Healthcare Systems Administration from Chamberlain University (Illinois). Her degrees also include a postmaster's certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Wilkes University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Nursing with a track as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and a bachelor’s in science of nursing from Florida National University (Miami, Florida).
  Medina is a bilingual (English and Spanish) APRN with extensive medical and psychiatric clinical experience, demonstrated during her career by planning and implementing evidence-based treatments for multicultural populations at acute and primary care levels. She believes that each patient deserves a holistic mental wellness approach that grants the goal of a balanced lifestyle while relieving and preventing health problems.
