  • I am board certified, practicing anatomic pathologist (surgical pathology/nephropathology). I am also chief of Pathology service at Temple University Hospital. In addition, I am principal investigator on five NIH funded research grants (~1.6 million dollars/year) in areas of blood brain barrier (BBB) injury in neuroinflammation, HIV infection, alcohol and drug abuse, diabetes and neuro-protective strategies for BBB.
