Summary

• Dr. Yolonda Pickett is board certified in adult and geriatric psychiatry. She completed her medical training at the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine, and her psychiatry residency at Michigan State University, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Pickett went on to complete a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a Master of Science in Clinical Research Methods from Albert Einstein, and a T32 Geriatric Mental Health Research Fellowship in Geriatric Mental Health Services Research. Her research has been focused on geriatric depression and disparities in mental health access and treatment.
  
  
  Dr. Pickett is currently the director of the behavioral health unit at Hackensack University Medical Center, and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. She is also the Psychiatry Clerkship Director of the HUMC site for the St. George’s University School of Medicine.
