- Dr. Navalgund obtained a Doctorate in Medicine in 1999 from Saba University. He continued on at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA to complete an Internship in General Surgery.
He then completed a residency in Anesthesiology at UPMC
Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA. He also completed a fellowship in
Interventional Pain Management at the West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown, WV. He obtained board certification in Anesthesiology prior to obtaining board certification in Pain Management and currently maintains maintenance of certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Pain Medicine. Dr. Navalgund also maintains a faculty position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology / Division of Pain Management at the West Virginia University
Hospital System.
He currently maintains his position as Director of Physician Education at National Spine and Pain Centers
This is all in addition to co-founding DNAPAIN.COM, his primary practice of Interventional Pain Management. DNA consists of multiple offices throughout
Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas.
He also serves as the
