Summary
- I am a specialist in transplant nephrology who assesses kidney transplant candidates and cares for patients following transplant surgery. I offer a personalized approach to kidney transplantation, using precision medicine concepts and identifying unique aspects of candidates/recipients through time-honored guidelines, emerging concepts, new medications, and refinements of care.
In addition to kidney transplant services, I assess and treat patients with genetic kidney diseases and proteinuria.
My research interests include kidney transplantation with an emphasis on cardiovascular, genetic, and immunological problems, genetics and immunology of glomerular diseases, and complement-associated glomerulonephritis.
